About Skerries Tennis Club
Founded in the early 1985, Skerries Lawn Tennis Club has a long-standing tradition of promoting tennis in the community. Over the years, it has evolved into a hub for both competitive and recreational players. The club’s commitment to fostering a love for the game is evident in its various programs and events.
Our Story
​Community Spirit
Skerries shared it's courts with the community of Skerries, so members and non-members can enjoy the court facilities. Our club room is hosted by Skerries Community centre and shared with Skerries Hockey club. Regular social events, tournaments, and gatherings foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and connection.
Competitive Matches
For those looking to test their skills, the club organises regular competitions and leagues. These events provide an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself and meet other players.
Skill Development
At Skerries Lawn Tennis Club, improving your game is a priority. The club offers coaching sessions for all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Experienced coaches can provide personalised training, helping you refine your technique, strategy, and overall performance.
Membership
Due to the high demand for membership and the limited number of courts for such a large community, Skerries Lawn Tennis Club is currently closed to new adult members. There is however a pathway to membership, please send an email to membership@skerriestennis.com to get more information. Membership is open for juniors.
